I’m thrilled to announce the grand opening of D’bo’s Wings, a fantastic new spot in Jacksonville! With the summer heat in full swing, their cool frozen daiquiris are the perfect way to chill out. There is only a small about of spots that do a verity of frozen drinks so I love this! Here's a sneak peek at what you can expect:
A Legacy of Flavor
D’bo’s Wings originated in Memphis over 35 years ago and has grown to six locations, bringing their seasoned expertise to Jacksonville. Their commitment to flavor and quality is evident in every bite. I am so excited for them to be part of the Jacksonville community and meeting the owners of the Jax location, Tanya and Ti’yionna, I am confident that they is going to put so much passion into this restaurant!
Flavor Explosion
D’bo’s Wings doesn't compromise on flavor. Their seasoning game is top-notch, ensuring every bite is packed with taste. While the food presentation could be a bit more polished, the quality is undeniably impressive. I am sad I did not try the burgers that will be next on my list to taste next time I visit!
A Few Thoughts
Crab Platter: At $35 for one cluster, I wished it included two. However, you can add more clusters for $15 each, which isn't too bad, though I’m used to purchasing crab by the pound.
Seasoning: D’bo’s signature seasoning is a winner, perfect as a dry rub and sprinkled on their delicious crinkle fries. Hands down my fav way to get the wings!
Variety: I was impressed by the wide variety of sauces and dry seasonings available so there are so many ways to get your wings!
Soft Opening: I attended their soft opening and was pleased with the overall experience. I believe that once they fully open and are operating at full capacity, they will work out a few details such as organization, food presentation, and service. I am hoping they will find their flow and deliver an exceptional dining experience! Felt a bit of a rushed environment but I think that’s what a soft opening is for, figuring out what things restaurants can improve on!
Drink Highlights
Their drinks are strong and perfect for summer. I recommend sticking with the frozen daiquiris because they were so good, and you can mix and match flavors for a unique experience each time you visit!
